There's nothing worse than having people attend your Congregation and not knowing anything about them. How are you supposed to build community that way?

Here's how to start stewarding people - and steward them well.

How to Add a New Person

Step 1: In your Dashboard, select the Community module in the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Select "People" in the side menu.

Step 3: Be sure to select the Organization and Donation Page (ie. Campus) that you want to add a new person to.

Step 4: Select "Add Person"

Step 5: Fill out the form with your member's information. Select "Save".

*Note: If you don't have the person's information, send them a public form to create their own profile! We suggest adding that link to an automated Welcome email sent to new guests!

Step 6: After you fill out the form with their initial information, their Community Profile card will open.

How to Add a New Person's Household

Step 1: To add another Person to a Household, go back through the steps of creating the next person in the Household.
Step 2: After creating Profiles for each person in the Household, in their Community Profile card, select "Household" in the side menu.

Step 3: Select "Add Family Member"

Step 4: Search for family member. Select the family member's name and add their relation. Scroll down and select "Save".
Please note: Their Community Profile already has to be created in order to link a family member together.
When adding relation, it will automatically reverse the other family member's relation, as well.

How to Add a Note to a Person's Profile

Step 1: In your Community module, select "People" on the side menu

Step 2: Search for the person, and select their name to go to their Community Profile.

Step 3: Select "Notes" in the side menu

Step 4: Select "New Note"

Step 5: If you do not have any Categories added, select "Add Category", type Category name and select "Save"

Step 6: Select a Category and type in your Note details. Select "Save"

* Church Base Tip: A good category and note to make on a person is whether or not they have allergies, which is very important when taking care of children in a nursery. Another idea is to list a major life change they might've shared previously so the next time leadership calls them to check in they know to ask how they are doing in that certain area of their life. Building the Kingdom includes caring for people.

How to Track a Person's Activity

Step 1: In your Community module, select "People" on the side menu

Step 2: Search for the person, and select their name to go to their Community Profile.

Step 3: Select "Activity" in the side menu

Step 4: Click on sliders to View/Hide certain Activity.
