Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: On the page you wish to password protect, click on the edit icon. This will open the page settings.
Step 2: From page settings scroll down until you see the slider labeled "Private". The setting is turned on when the circle is adjacent to the word "Private" as pictured below.
Step 3: After making the page private, be sure to select which groups will be able to view the page using the drop down menu "Which Group can Access this Page?"
Step 4: And finally, add the desired password in the "Password to Access this Page" box. In this example, the password is "12345".
Now, when users attempt to access the password protected page, they will be prompted to enter the password.
