Adding a Custom Post App Page will allow you to automatically pull in a specific Post Category created in the Church Base Content module, or an external URL of your choice.

This App Page can be utilized for a blog, newsletter, or just a localized space for information you would like to provide to your users.

This is a great way to bring additional traffic to both your website and app.

How to Add a Custom Post App Page

Step 1: If you are not pulling in an external URL and have not already created a Post and Added Categories, click here for instructions.

Step 2: Once you have created Post Categories, select the Connection module in the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Select App Pages under App Management section

Step 4: Select Create Page to choose the type of page you would like to create

Step 5: Select Custom Post

Note: Your new page will not show on your app or website until you click the edit button, activate the page, and choose where you would like it to appear (side menu, PWA website, or app)

Step 6: Select the edit icon next to the Custom Post page

Step 7: Customize the Page Name, and slug name (example: churchbase.com/blogposts)

Step 8: Customize Banner Title and Banner Description - these will appear at the top of this page on your website.

Step 9: Activate the sliders of your choosing - this is how you will choose where you want the page to be accessible.

Step 10: Select Post Type - select ChurchBase Feed or External URL

Selecting Church Base Feed will pull in Posts from the Content Module

If selecting ChurchBase Feed, you will be able to choose the Category of Posts that you would like to appear on this page in the dropdown

If selecting External URL, you will be able to paste an external URL of your choice into the field provided.

Step 11: Select Save
