Publishing Sermons is how your sermons will be placed within your website and app. Church Base offers a single portal for publishing your sermons intuitively. When you publish a sermon from the Content module it automatically goes to your app and to your website if you've purchased them with Church Base.

This Article will provide step-by step instructions how to publish sermons to your app and website.

Step 1: In your Dashboard, select the Content module in the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Select Sermons

Step 3: Select All Sermons

Step 4: Select Add Sermon

This will take you to our Sermon Publisher

  • The Content Box in the center is where you can add any information relevant to the sermon you are posting as well as create notes to go along with it.

  • The panel on the right, is where you are able to categorize the sermon by speakers, series, topics, and books

Step 5: Select Add Sermon

Step 6: Enter the Sermon Title and Date Preached.

After you have added the Sermon Title and Date Preached, scroll down to the bottom of the page to add your media.

Step 7: Add media to your sermon.

To add an MP3 (audio file) to your sermon, select the Add Sermon Audio button. You can upload your MP3 file directly to this sermon.

To add a video (MP4) file to your sermon:

Select Upload Video File and select the video you uploaded in the Media section in the Video Link box.

Or, Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, or video URL in the Sermon Video box.

If you have a PDF file you would like to upload here as well, you can do so by selecting the Add File button next to the Sermon Notes field.

Step 8: Add your sermon to a series in the Series section. If your sermon is not added to a series, it will not display on the sermon landing page in your app or website.

You can add in additional information such as a description, corresponding speaker, etc., but it is not required.

Step 9: Select Save to publish immediately!

If you would like to wait and publish later you may go to the Edit button at the top of the screen and choose the date you would like for your sermon to be published!
