Church Base offers a single portal for publishing your sermons intuitively. When you publish a sermon from the Cloud Publisher it automatically goes to your app and to your website if you've purchased the Church Base website.

To begin, click "Content" from the module menu > then select "Sermons" > "All Sermons"

Understanding the Sermon Publisher

  • The first thing you'll notice on the sermon page is the content box in the center. Here, you can add any information relevant to the sermon you are posting as well as create notes to go along with it.
  • The second thing you'll notice is the panel on the right, this is where you can categorize the sermon by speakers, series, topics, and books. Note: on both your app and website, sermons will show up by series, not itemized sermons.

Uploading and Adding Media To Sermons

If you are uploading both video and audio, start by uploading your video to the Media section of the Content module.

To add a new sermon, click "Add New."

After you've added your Sermon Title and Date Preached, scroll down to the bottom of the page to add in your media.

To add an MP3 (audio file) to your sermon, click the "Add Sermon Audio" button. You can upload your MP3 file directly to this sermon.

To add a video (MP4) file to your sermon:

  1. Paste the copied URL from the video file you uploaded in the Media section in the Video Link box.

Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, or video URL from the "Media" section in the Video Link         box.

If you have a PDF file you would like to upload here as well, you can do so by clicking the "Add File" button next to the Sermon Notes field.

Before you publish your sermon, update the "Publish Immediately" section so that the date reflects the "Date Preached" date.

Next, add your sermon to a series in the "Series" section. If your sermon is not added to a series, it will not display on the sermon landing page in your app or website.

You are welcome to add in additional information such as a description, corresponding speaker, etc., but it is not required.

Once your sermon information has been added, click "Publish"
